Command Reference
This page provides a comprehensive list of command references for CloudWorx for AutoCAD and CloudWorx for BricsCAD to guide users through the CloudWorx toolset.
Note: If you use another CAD system, the command line prompts may be different.

The Orientation panel | ||
Floor + Wall | Creates a UCS based on a floor and a wall without changing the Z-axis. | |
Wall + Wall | Creates a UCS based on two perpendicular walls without changing the Z-axis. | |
Wall | Creates a UCS based on a single pick point. | |
On Slice | Changes the UCS and orientates it to the current slice. | |
2 Points | Sets the orientation of the X-axis of the UCS from two user-defined picks on the point cloud while keeping the Z-axis upright. | |
Change Origin | Defines the Workplane origin. | |
Plan View | Switches a Workplane to a plan from the elevation view or rotates a plan view. | |
Elevation View | Switches a Workplane to the elevation view from the plan view or flips the elevation view. | |
Align View | Aligns the viewpoint to the Workplane. | |
The Clipping panel | ||
Clipping Manager | Opens the Clipping Manager dialog, which is used to create, edit, or delete clipping records in CloudWorx. | |
Reset Clip | Turns off all clipping records of the active clipping group. | |
Hide Inside | Hides all points inside of a user-defined fence. | |
Hide Outside | Hides all points outside of a user-defined fence. | |
Limit Box | Defines a 3D box beyond which points are not displayed or processed. | |
Limit Box* | Allows placing a temporary clipping box according to the defined parameters. | |
Slice on Axis | Clips points outside a slice on a particular axis. | |
Slice Forward | Moves the existing slice by one step (equal to the thickness of the slice) in the positive direction along its axis. | |
Slice Backward | Moves the existing slice by one step (equal to the thickness of the slice) in the negative direction along its axis. | |
Section Views | Clips a section view in different directions along a specified axis. | |

Regenerate Points | Regenerates all the cloud points necessary to view the maximum level of detail in the current viewport. | |
Maximum Points to Load | Allows setting the maximum allowed number of points loaded by CloudWorx from Cyclone CORE ModelSpace. | |
Set Regeneration Factor | Allows setting the value for regenerating cloud points necessary to display in the viewport. | |
Clip Scheme | Switches the clipping scheme. | |
Color Mapping | Allows for a global override of point cloud colouring. | |
True Color | Displays a point cloud with true colour mapped to the CAD palette. | |
Intensity | Displays a point cloud with intensity-mapped colours. | |
CWCOLORMODE | Colour mode | Allows selecting the desired colour mode: intensity, scanner colour, or grayscale. |
Point Density | Adjusts the resolution, point loading, and rendering speed according to user preferences. | |
Point Visibility | Toggles the visibility of point clouds. | |
Point mode | Toggles a triangle or box pixel for each point, rather than one pixel, to fill in the cloud. | |
Point Snap | Toggles the ability to snap to points in a point cloud. | |

Pipe | Fits a pipe to a point cloud. | |
Connect Pipes | Creates a piping run from multiple selected pipe objects. | |
Flange Work Point | Finds the placement position for flanges and flanged components. | |
