  • AutoCAD / BricsCAD: CWWORKPLANE | SLICE

This command changes the UCS and orientates it to the current slice.

Once the Align View command is used, the point cloud will be set to draw an elevation view.

Using the Tool

To orientate the UCS to the current slice, follow the steps below:

  1. Be sure to have a slice present.

  2. Activate the tool using any option below:

    1. Select On Slice from the Workplane menu in the Orientation panel.

    2. Type a command line prompt specific to the preferred CAD system and press ENTER.

  3. The UCS will be orientated to the current slice.

  4. Click the Align View command in the Orientation panel and the point cloud will be orientated to an elevation view.
