Point Mode

AUTOCAD BASIC AUTOCAD PRO REVIT ULTIMATE

Command Line

  • AutoCAD: CWPOINTMODE

This command toggles a triangle or box pixel for each point, rather than one pixel, to fill in the cloud.

Different CAD software can render and display point cloud data in various ways, which can sometimes make it appear as if there are gaps or missing points. However, it is important to note that all data is actually present, up to a precision of 1 point per millimetre.

Note: This option is mainly intended for visual purposes and may affect the rendering performance.

Repeatedly entering the command at the CAD command line will switch from box to triangle to one-pixel rendering.
