Measure Area (TruView Desktop only)

Measure the area of a rectangular polygon area. The area measurement will be displayed in the measurement units defined in the viewer settings.

This tool does not support irregular polygons.

Mouse Control:  The first click defines the first corner of the rectangle, the second click defines the second corner of the rectangle and the third click defines the opposite edge of the rectangle. When defining the opposite edge of the rectangle the edge will snap to the nearest surface.  This is done to ensure that the area measurement is along a flat surface.
