Measuring your data

This step-by-step video guide explains the process of creating and saving measurements in an asset.

1. Click the Measurement button.

2. Click Add Measurement.

3. Select the appropriate measurement tool for your application.

4. Click within the scene to place your measurement points.

   1. Enable “Magnifier” and “Cursor coordinates” for a more accurate measurement.

5. When you have completed your measurement, you will be prompted to give it a name and, optionally, a description. This description is helpful to users who are shared the measurement to inform them of its intended purpose and subject.

6. Please note, that users who are shared a public link of a project are able to take measurements in the project. Those measurements will be temporary for their session.
