TruView VR Software Requirements

TruView VR was built using the steam VR platform. In order to run TruView VR you must install the following software.

 

Required

  • OS Windows 8.1, Windows 10 or Windows 11 (WIN 11 24H1 or earlier)

  •  Steam

  •  Steam VR

  • TruView VR

TruView VR has its own installer. You will need to install it separately

 After installing Steam you will be required to create an account and login to Steam.

Optional 

  • Windows Mixed Reality

  • VRCapture

Windows Mixed Reality has some built-in tools for screen capture/recording that might be useful. VR capture is a free download from the steam app store. It will also allow you to record video and capture screenshots when using the HTC Vive headset.
