Scale Image

Function

Define two points with a known distance and the image is automatically scaled to match the real world dimension.

Procedure

Once the scale image tool has been selected, the user is prompted to select the image to scale.

Note: Pick the edge of the image to select.

Pick the two reference points on the image. The distance will be displayed dynamically.

The dialog will open displaying the current distance. Enter the known distance between the two reference points and select the Scale Image button. The image will scale.

Select the reference distance for the grips to appear. Adjust the grips as needed and re scale if necessary.

Once scaling is complete, select the Ok button to close the dialog and apply the scale.

Selecting the close button will close the dialog and reject any scaling.
