# CW TruSpace Measure Temperature

The **Measure Temperature** tool allows the user to click on a point and retrieve the temperature. The temperature measurement will be displayed in the temperature units defined in the [viewer settings](/v1/docs/cloudworx-cw-truspace-temperature-units).

> [!WARNING]
> This is only possible for data that includes the Infrared (IR) layer.

**Mouse Control:** In the Measure Temperature mode, click any point in a pano image. It’s essential be at a Setup location to measure the temperature.
