# Change License Server

**autocad basic** **autocad pro** **ultimate**

This command allows the user to change the license server if the license has been transferred to a new server.

To change the license server:

1. Type **CWLICSERVER** at the CAD command line and press **ENTER**.
2. The dialog will appear, allowing the user to enter the new license server name.

To check license usage information, use the [**CWLICENSEINFO**](/v1/docs/cloudworx-license-usage) command.
