System hardware requirements
The following table outlines the hardware requirements to run TruView on your computer. It may run using lower than recommended hardware but performance might not be optimal.

If you are using a headset that supports the Windows Mixed Reality, you can verify if your PC will support TruView VR via the Windows Mixed Reality Portal.
After you have setup your headset, launch the Windows Mixed Reality Portal.
After running the app, you'll get one of the following messages:
You're good to go. Your PC is ready to run mixed reality games and experiences.
Supports some features. Your PC can run some mixed reality experiences.
Can't run mixed reality. This PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements needed to run Windows Mixed Reality.
You'll then get an analysis of your PC against the required hardware, drivers, and operating system.

Supported VR Headsets
TruView VR will support most modern Windows Mixed Reality headsets, however it has only been tested on some headsets. If you are using an untested headset you will likely have map the buttons manually through the steam app. The following document outlines the steps required to add custom controller bindings to VR controller.

*The Meta Quest 2 will work while connected to your PC using the USB-C connector cable. There are two known issues related to this:
The TruView Main Menu button does not get mapped to a controller button. You will need to manually map this button in the steamVR controller binding settings. You can set this to any open button on the Meta Quest controllers. The B button on the right hand controller is not currently being used, so this is a good option. For more information on how to map buttons in SteamVR, please visit the Controller Bindings | Customizing-Bindings help topic. You will only need to do this once if you save the controller bindings once you have finished editing.
The TruView VR help menu will be blank. This menu typically displays a graphic with the controller bindings when used with other supported headsets. You can still check controller bindings within the steam VR application itself.

Setting up VR Headsets
The setup process will vary depending on which headset you are using. Please reference the appropriate online documentation for setting up the VR headset you are using. Ensure that when you are setting up your headset that you connect the headset to your dedicated graphics card and not the one that is integrated with your CPU.
