Workplane - Change Origin

Function

This command changes the origin (0,0,0) of the UCS from a user defined pick on the point cloud

To change the origin of the UCS from a pick point

Procedure

To change the origin of the UCS from a pick point:

1. Click on the icon or type CWworkplane at the CAD command line and press Enter

2. Type OR for Origin at the CAD command line and press Enter

3. The user will be prompted to Pick origin

   1. Be sure Node OSNAP is on

   2. Pick on the point cloud to define the new origin

4. The origin icon will move to the desired location
