Function

Displays a visual aid, or gizmo, used to move and rotate entities in three-dimensional space.

Procedure

[FILter/?]/<Select entities>: Select entities that you want to move or rotate.

Specify base point: Specify a point relative to which the selected entities are moved or rotated.

Select rotation or move axis: To move selected entities along the x, y, or z-axis, select the corresponding arrow, then specify a new location for the selected entities. To rotate selected entities relative to one of the axes, select the corresponding orbit, then specify a new location for the selected entities. Movement and rotation are restricted to the selected axis.
