Perspective View

Gives you a more realistic view of the scene.

Procedure

Perspective View (ON)

Using the perspective view, objects that are far away appear smaller than objects of the same size that are nearby.

Orthographic View (OFF)

Using the orthographic view, the distance to an object does not affect how it will be scaled. This is like the default plan view in CAD where entities at one elevation align perfectly with entities at another elevation. You may want to use this mode if you have 2D linework or text that are at z=0 elevation that you want to view inline with 3D entities that are at some other elevation.
