New features

Import your SiteMaps from LGSx as Levels

For LGSx files that have no point cloud — only panoramic images and SiteMaps — your SiteMaps now come across as Levels when you upload. This typically applies to assets migrated from TruView Cloud or TruView Enterprise. Select a Level to show its floorplan in the minimap as a navigation map, with the panoramic setup points marked on it; click a setup point to jump to that panorama and navigate the minimap just as you would for any other dataset in GeoCloud. Because the SiteMaps were created outside GeoCloud, the way the setups were organised is preserved, making the asset easier to navigate once it's in GeoCloud.

  • Applies to new uploads only: LGSx files already on GeoCloud aren't reprocessed; re-upload a point-cloud-less asset to get floorplan navigation for it.

  • Imported levels are positioned automatically — adjusting a level's alignment by hand and SiteMap-to-SiteMap links aren't included yet.

Improvements

Smoother artifact uploads and downloads

Getting your data in and out of GeoCloud is smoother this release. Downloads are cleaner: single-file artifacts download directly instead of zipped, and a downloaded artifact now contains only the files and folders you uploaded, without extra wrapping folders. Uploads and processing are also more reliable — files whose main name contains a space now upload correctly, and artifacts no longer get stuck partway through uploading or processing.

Bug fixes

  • Magnifier stays available — Before, restarting a measurement turned the magnifier off and disabled it. Now, the magnifier keeps its state and stays available when you restart a measurement.

  • Large-coordinate assets in local scenes — Before, adding an asset with very large coordinates to a non-georeferenced scene could cause the scene to render incorrectly. Now, these assets can be added and the scene displays as expected.
