# Workplane - On Slice

## Function

This command changes the UCS and orientates it to the current slice.

## Procedure

To orientate the UCS to the current slice, follow the steps below:

1. Be sure to have a slice present.
2. Activate the routine
3. The UCS will be orientated to the current slice.
4. Click the **Align View** command in the **Orientation** panel and the point cloud will be orientated to an elevation view.
