# IFC Properties

## Function

Opens the BIM Properties pane which is used to browse information about and control content visibility of .rvt, .rfa, and .ifc files.

## Procedure

When the BIM Properties pane is open for a BIM drawing, you can view BIM information by category, hierarchy, and views.
