# September 30, 2026 | Hexagon GeoCloud

## Store your data in Japan, Germany, England and Wales or India

If your organization has to keep its data in a specific country for legal, regulatory or contractual reasons, you can now store your uploaded files and processed results in four new storage regions: **AP - Japan**, **EU - Germany**, **EU - England and Wales** and **AP - India**, even where Hexagon GeoCloud doesn't run a full regional deployment.

### Choose a storage region per project

When you create a project, the new regions appear in the **Storage region** list next to the existing ones. The files you upload to the project, and the results created from them, are stored in the region you choose. As before, you can't change a project's storage region after you create it.

> **What stays in the region.** Your uploaded files and processed results are stored in the region you choose. Processing and streaming run in a full Hexagon GeoCloud region, so streaming can be slightly slower.
