The quality and success of the recording depend on several factors, which are outlined below. **Key factors affecting tour recording:** - Browser and Settings Use a [supported browser](/v1/docs/hexagon-geocloud-hardware-software-requirements) with optimal settings for performance and memory usage. - Browser Window Size Larger browser windows consume more memory. - Screen Resolution Higher screen resolutions increase memory usage. - Asset Data Loaded The type of asset data (e.g., point cloud or mesh) affects memory usage. - GeoCloud Visualization Settings Visualization quality and the available GPU memory impact processing. - Tour Duration Longer tours require more resources, increasing the likelihood of reaching memory limits. - Tour Frames Per Second (FPS) Higher FPS improves video quality but also demands more resources. ### Browser Memory Limit Considerations Most browsers impose a memory limit per tab, typically around 1.4 GB. If this limit is exceeded, the recording may fail to generate or download. #### Troubleshooting If you encounter an issues during recording, consider the following options: - Adjust Browser Memory Limits. If your browser allows, increase the memory limit per tab. - Reduce Resource Demands. Lower one or more of the following variables: - FPS settings - Tour duration - Screen resolution Experiment with these adjustments to find a combination that works for your system. > [!NOTE] > Resizing the browser window or shifting it to another screen can disrupt the recording process and cause errors. ### Manual Workaround If you cannot accept a lower-quality recording, start with your settings. Stop the recording after a few seconds, then hit the record button again to continue. Repeat this until you finish the tour. This process generates and downloads multiple MP4 files that you can concatenate later. Please use your preferred search engine to find a solution for concatenating the files..
