The Help button content will change depending on the active navigation mode. | **Orbit** ![image-20240328-133958.png](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/image-20240328-133958.png) | Sets navigation control to orbit mode. Orbit Mode changes the orientation of the scene without changing your perceived distance from it. The user will orbit around the point clicked. > [!NOTE] > This is default navigation mode. | ![Recording 2024-05-01 at 10.52.20.gif](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/Recording%202024-05-01%20at%2010.52.20.gif) | | --- | --- | --- | | **Fly** ![image-20240328-134051.png](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/image-20240328-134051.png) | Switches navigation into a fly mode. Fly mode moves the viewpoint through the scene in a flying manner (first-person). Movement is controlled by using the keyboard arrow keys or using WASD keys. Also Q (down) and E (up) to control altitude. Speed is controlled by holding either the space bar down (slow speed) or holding shift key down (increase speed). | ![Recording 2024-05-01 at 10.51.44.gif](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/Recording%202024-05-01%20at%2010.51.44.gif)![image-20240501-150211.png](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/image-20240501-150211.png) | | **Walk** ![Walk navigation mode button](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/hexagon-geocloud-navigation-walk-icon.png) | Switches navigation into nearest panoramic image view. Walk mode moves the scene around a fixed point, and can be used only at defined panoramic viewpoint locations. > [!NOTE] > Only available if panoramic images were imported with the asset. | ![Recording 2024-05-01 at 10.53.13.gif](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/Recording%202024-05-01%20at%2010.53.13.gif) | | **Navigation Controls Help** ![image-20240328-134358.png](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/image-20240328-134358.png) | Opens help for the active navigation mode controls dialog for control keys and shortcuts. | | ## Viewcube The viewcube sits in the corner of the view and shows the current orientation of your data. Use it to switch to a preset view, such as looking straight down at the data from above. The viewcube is available in the asset viewer and in every scene. For assets with a User Coordinate System (UCS), it aligns to the UCS axes. In Walk mode, a compass takes the place of the view cube and shows which way you're facing. A shaded cone shows your field of view and narrows or widens as you zoom in and out. The compass follows the selected coordinate system, as the view cube does. ![Lower right corner of the panoramic view with the compass showing the X, Y and Z axes and the horizon disc, above the navigation buttons](https://cdn.document360.io/820e11db-8ed5-45ae-ac86-f6b77dcb2aa7/Images/Documentation/hexagon-geocloud-october-5-2026-compass-panorama-v2.png) Compass in Walk mode ## Related - [Switching between User Coordinate Systems](/hexagon-geocloud-select-ucs.md)
