# Surface Restriction

This command is used to make a restriction on a face. This restriction is an external border of the face.

> ### Requirements
> 
> Select the surface and the contour(s) (closed geometries, closed CAD curves, closed CAD wires) and launch the command.

> If several contours have been selected before entering the command, the command will return a restricted face per contour.
