In case of scalar data (inspection, intensity, etc.), you can separate the input cloud in two ways: 1. Per each of the existing gradient intervals (**Use gradient intervals)** 2. By defining a custom range. This range can be set by picking points relative to each range bounds through the "**+**" buttons. 3. Click **Preview** 4. The cloud will be segmented in multiple sub-clouds 1. Check the ones you want to keep 2. Display them using the lightbulb 5. Selecting sub-clouds and right-clicking, you can: 1. **Rename** the selection 2. **Merge Selection** > [!WARNING] > ### Notes > > - Gradient intervals can be defined through[Edit Colors](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-editgradientc) before entering the command. > - The custom range slider can be initialized in several ways: > - If the cloud does not contain intervals, the lower slider is defined to 10% of the range, and the upper slider is defined to 90%. > - Otherwise, the lower slider is defined at the first peg value, and the upper slider is defined at the last peg value. Adjust the **Scalar values** range.
