# Export Plans

Export Plans is the third and last step of the Scan to Plan workflow. It exports 2D polylines.

> ### Requirements
> 
> The command launches when clicking **Next** on the [Extract Plans](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-scantoplanextractplansc) step.

1. Choose an **Export type** among the following ones:
  1. **DXF**: saves a dxf file that can be read in most CAD programs.
  2. **Send To**: sends the objects directly to other compatible software. For example, refer to [Send to](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-sendto).
2. **Previous** opens the second step of the workflow: [Extract Plans](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-scantoplanextractplansc).
3. **Exit** quits the workflow. Note you will be able to resume the workflow later.
