# Scan To Pipe

This workflow allows extraction of pipe traces composed of straight pipes, elbows, reducers, branches and flanges based off a point cloud.

> ### Requirements
> 
> Select a point cloud (3DR native, LGSx or Hexagon GeoCloud) and launch the workflow.

The workflow is divided in 2 steps:

1. [Extract Pipes](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-scantopipeextractc): To manually extract and edit pipe elements from the point cloud.
2. [Export pipes](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-scantopipeexportc): To export extracted pipe trace(s) and / or send to AutoCAD / BricsCAD.
