# Cut Mesh

This command splits a mesh according to a set of contours.

> ### Requirements
> 
> Select the mesh and polylines (or set of polylines) and launch the command.

1. If you have open polylines, optionally check **Close polylines**.
2. If **Project polylines** is checked, the polylines will be projected on the mesh.
