# Distance between Planes

This command measures the distance between two planes.

> ### Requirements
> 
> Click two consecutive planes to generate a measure containing distance information.

- Check **Sign distances along axes** to indicate negative distances relative to the starting point. It also changes the arrow to indicate the starting point.
- Type your comment in the **Comment** if needed.

> ### Notes
> 
> The clicked planes need to be almost parallel (the angle between the planes have to be inferior to 5°) and not intersect visibly.
