# Limit Plane

This command creates a limit plane and hides the data on one side of that plane.

> No selection is required to launch the command.

Click a point using [Define points](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-enteringpointprocedure). A limit plane is created in the scene:

- **View Left** is going to clip the cloud in the -X direction.
- **View Right** is going to clip the cloud in the X direction.
- **View Front** is going to clip the cloud in the -Y direction.
- **View Back** is going to clip the cloud in the Y direction.
- **View Top** is going to clip the cloud in the Z direction.
- **View Bottom** is going to clip the cloud in the -Z direction.
