This object can no longer be created (refer to [Measure objects](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-measureobjectsgeneralities) ). --- **Characteristics:** - **Label size**: Define the visible row/column of a label | Label size | Behavior | Example with a deviation label | | --- | --- | --- | | **Minimum** | Only the label number is displayed | Only the label number is displayed | | **Small** | Only the most important information is displayed | Same than **Minimum** Additionally, the **Deviation** column is displayed | | **Medium** | Main information is displayed | Same than **Small** Additionally, **Reference** and **Measure** column are displayed | | **Long** | All information is displayed | Same than **Medium** Additionally, **Tolerance Min, Tolerance Max** and **Note** columns are displayed | - **Authorize overlap**: if checked, labels size is always the same. Else if there are too many labels on the screen, the size is automatically reduced in order to avoid label overlap. --- **Background mode** - **No background** - **Specific color** - **According to the tolerance** (green if inside tolerance or red if outside tolerance) --- **Appearance** - **Background color**: color of the label background - **Transparency**: to be able to view under the label --- **Texts** options**:** - **Font color**: to set the color of the font, the frame, and the point. - **Number of decimals**: to set the number of digits after the comma in all labels, in classic notation. See warning below for explanation - **Engineering notation**: if enabled, values like 0.00001 are replaced by 1e-05 and 10000 by 1e+05. > [!WARNING] > ### Notes > > In engineering notation, all numbers are considered as decimals. A specific rule is applied to the digit '0' at the end: the '0' of the truncated number are removed. > > This means that the number 10240.123456 will be: | Truncated number | with 2 decimals | with 3 decimals | with 4 decimals | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | classic notation | 10240.12 | 10240.123 | 10240.1234 | | engineering notation | 1e+04 | 1.02e+04 | 1.024e+04 |
