# Gridded Inspection

This command creates a gridded cloud with inspection information on points.

> ### Requirements
> 
> Select a mesh containing inspection values and launch the command.

1. Select the **Grid orientation mode**
  1. **Default**: the grid is projected on the Z direction
  2. **Custom Direction**
2. In Custom Direction, you can set the **Grid characteristics**:
  1. The **Projection direction**
  2. The **Horizontal axis**
  3. The **Origin point**
3. Set the grid **Horizontal Step**
4. Set the grid **Vertical step**
5. Export the result directly to CAD:
  1. Set the **texts height** in model space.
  2. Export to **DXF** or [**Send To**](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-sendto)**.**
6. Refer to [Edit Colors](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-editgradientc) to customize the text style.
