Extracted images are added in the 3D scene as regularly imported images would be. > [!TIP] > ### Requirements > > Select one or several textured meshes and launch the command. --- > [!WARNING] > ### Notes > > Static textures, such as textures applied using [Smart Texture](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-smarttexturec) or [Texture Atlas](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-texture-atlasc) cannot be extracted from a textured mesh. --- > [!NOTE] > ### Technical information > > **Dynamic vs static** > > The mesh texture comes from an image. It can be done in a static or a dynamic way: > > - in a static way, the image is overlaid on the mesh one time. Then the original image is removed from memory. > - in a dynamic way, the image is kept into memory so as to be overlaid at any time.
