# Create UCS

All those commands allow creating or modifying a UCS in an iterative way using the following principle:

- Starting from any Coordinate System, the chosen command will create and activate a new **Unnamed UCS**.
- If an **Unnamed UCS** already exists, the command will modify it.
- Renaming an **Unnamed UCS** will validate it. Launching another UCS command will create a new **Unnamed UCS.**
