# Convex Contour

This command creates a convex contour from polylines, set of polylines and / or clouds. The convex contour is the boundary set, which is a set of points containing all segments between each pair of points.

> ### Requirements
> 
> Select all the polylines, set of polylines and clouds to use. Then launch the command.

1. Select a [direction](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-definenormaldirection).
2. Select the **Type of result** you need (2D contour or 3D contour).
