In the software you can compare: - A cloud with a mesh or a surface or a geometric feature. - A cloud with another cloud. - A mesh with another mesh, a surface or a geometric feature. - A polyline with another polyline. - A set of polylines with another set of polylines. You can compute inspections only between 2 objects (you can use commands [Merge Clouds](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-mergecloudsc), [Group Mesh](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-groupmeshc) or [Group CAD](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-groupcadc) (if you want to group several objects). The one selected first is the “Reference” and the other one is the “Measure”. Once the inspection is done, you may compute [Statistics](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-statisticsc) to get more information about it. - [Basic Tutorial | Compute inspection between a surface and a cloud](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-excompute-inspection-between-a-surface-and-a-cloud) - [Basic Tutorial | Compute inspection between polylines](/v1/docs/cyclone-3dr-exercise-compute-inspection-between-polylines)
