# Align View

## **Orientation | Align View**

### **Command Line**

- **AutoCAD / BricsCAD: CWWORKPLANE | ALIGN**

This command aligns the view to the current UCS.

### **Using the Tool**

To align the view to the current UCS:

1. Activate the tool using any option below:
  1. Click **Align View** in the **Orientation** panel.
  2. Type a [command line prompt](/v1/docs/cloudworx-align-view#command-line) specific to the preferred CAD system and press **ENTER**.

The point cloud will now be aligned to the current UCS.
