FAF Support
As of the release of Cyclone FIELD 360 v. 4.1, Cyclone FIELD 360 can export a backup/archive file for Jobs. The file format is FAF.
The format can be imported into Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS like any other scanner format. Each FAF file can contain a Job. The FAF format provides the same level of support as a direct connection to the tablet, including Links and all assets.
This format can be used as a backup and/or to clear Jobs from the tablet without having to import into Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS first.
The recommended workflow is to export Jobs to the FAF format and then import the FAF file directly into Cyclone FIELD 360.
FAFx Support
With the release of Cyclone FIELD 360 v. 6.2, a new FAFx format was introduced.
Starting with Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS 2026.1.0 and Cyclone FIELD 360 v. 7.0, LWPO FAFx from RTC300, RTC500, and RTC700 scanners can be imported.
This enhances flexibility for both lightweight and full-data workflows.

LWPO Support
In all versions of Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS prior to 2026.1.0, Light Weight Preview Object (LWPO) data is not supported. LWPO preregistration information will not be imported from either FAF or FAFx.
Starting with version 2026.1.0, Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS supports importing FAFx files that contain LWPO data from RTC300 / RTC500 / RTC700 scanners.
