Users Roles in Cyclone ENTERPRISE

The following Roles can be assigned to Users in Cyclone ENTERPRISE:

  • Supervisor

  • Administrator

  • Group Admin

  • Project Admin

  • Power User

  • User

Note: There is only one root user created during installation. And although the root user's password can be reset, their role cannot be re-assigned and other users cannot be assigned the "root" role.

  • All “Admin” Role permissions

  • Additional permissions to be added with future releases (e.g., set automated notifications, connect user directory services, change license server, etc.)

 

  • All “Group Admin” Role permissions

  • Add, Modify, Delete Users

  • Add, Modify, Delete Groups and Sub-Groups

  • Add, Reconnect, Remove, Set Default storage location(s)

  • View and terminate active User login sessions

  • View and terminate active TruView LIVE sessions

  • Set owner info

  • Set custom logo

 

  • All “Project Admin” Role permissions

  • Add, Modify, Delete Sub-Groups within administered Group(s)

  • Move Groups, Sub-Groups for Groups administered

  • Import/Publish Projects to administered Group(s)

  • Assign Users to administered Group(s)

  • Assign Projects to Groups (for Projects within administered Groups)

 

  • All “Power User” Role permissions

  • Assign Users to administered Project(s)

  • Edit Project name and description

  • Set Project password

  • Publish Project to LGS

  • Edit Project storage location

  • Delete Project

 

  • All “User” Role permissions

  • Add, Modify, Delete Models (Project permitting)

  • Modify GeoTags

  • Add, Modify, Delete Markups, Snapshots, Snapshot playlists

 

  • Edit self: username, password, language preference

  • View Projects

  • Sort, Search Projects

  • View Models

  • View GeoTags, Assets, Markups, Snapshots, Snapshot playlists, Saved UCS’, Saved Clips

  • Create temporary clips
