(2022.0.0) "Problem validating the license" message with a valid license


When Cyclone ENTERPRISE is launched, the below error message is shown , despite having a valid license entered and activated in CLM.


Probable Cause

When Cyclone ENTERPRISE is launched, including after restarting Cyclone ENTERPRISE service or restarting the compute or restarting the CLM server, it may take time to validate the license and make it available for consumption by Cyclone ENTERPRISE. 

Solution 1

Please wait for about 1 minute and try again to make sure that license validation is done.

Solution 2

Start or Restart "FlexNet License Service" from Task Manager | Services.
