Quick Slice

This command allows you to automatically create a slice in the 3D scene.

Requirements

Along X, Y, Z: no selection is required to launch the command.

Along curve: select a linear object to launch the command.

Click on a point using Define points. A slice is created in the scene:

• Quick Slice along X is going to create a slice along the X axis.

• Quick Slice along Y is going to create a slice along the Y axis.

• Quick Slice along Z is going to create a slice along the Z axis.

• Quick Slice along Curve is going to create a slice along the selected polyline or trajectory. 

Notes

The slice is created with a default thickness corresponding to 0.2 in the current document unit.
