Profile 2D Inspection-Compute Profiles

This step computes the profiles.

1. Optionally, filter the vertices of the profiles distant from the axis with Max distance.

2. If inputs are point clouds:

   1. Activate noise reduction to keep only the best points of a section.

   2. Slice thickness to define which points belong to the section according to a slice centered on the given position. 

   3. Chaining distance: if the distance between two neighbor points is less than this value, a segment is created.

3. Display the sections:

   • In a line,

   • In a column,

   • In a grid,

   • Individually.

4. Optionally, display the 3D scene in addition to the 2D layout.
