Volume

This command calculates the volumes of the selected meshes. The computed volumes are displayed in measures. A measure is created for each mesh. 

Select one or several meshes and launch the command.

You can choose the unit in which volumes are computed.

Volumes can be:

• positive if the normal is oriented outside.

• negative if the normal is oriented inside. Note that you can use the contextual menu to reverse the normal.

In the case of meshes which are not closed, the calculation should be interpreted as an approximation.
