Group

This command groups

• points in a cloud

• clouds in a cloud

• polylines in a set of polylines

• meshes in a compound mesh

• image(s) and / or set(s) of images in a set of images

• cad in a compound cad (AEC license required)

Requirements

Select objects of a same type and launch the command.

In the case of grouping image(s) and / or set(s) of images:

1. Choose the clustering method:

   1. Strict: images will be clustered if their positions are exactly the same

   2. Group Camera: set the Clustering distance within the images will be clustered

Tips & Tricks

Use Ungroup to explode the compound object (except for clouds).

Use Merge Clouds to group points with an existing cloud or to manage options when grouping.

The information in existing image sets such as texturing options and trajectory links will be lost.
